When you choose to include Feed the Children in your long-term estate or financial plans, you will continue to help build a brighter future for children for years to come.

A Planned Gift is simply any gift other than a direct contribution of cash. There are many types of planned gifts that can used either during lifetime or through testamentary giving, such as – gifts of stock or real estate, a life insurance policy, a charitable gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust and of course a bequest in your will or trust.

Stocks and Bonds

Your gift of appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is a simple and effective way to change the lives of children in need.

Giving to Feed the Children in this way brings you several possible benefits. You can:

  • Avoid paying capital gains tax
  • Receive a charitable income tax deduction
  • Further our mission in a real and direct way

How to Donate Stocks or Bonds

It’s easy to send your gift of stocks or bonds today via electronic transfer. To transfer shares held with your broker directly to the Feed the Children brokerage account, provide your broker/agent with the following information:

If you hold securities in certificate form, you can also send us your gift by certified mail. Bequests

A Bequest in your will or living trust at the time of death is the simplest type of planned gift to make and one of the easiest to implement. You can leave a specific asset, a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate.

Estate Gifts

When you leave an estate gift you will carry on the support that you have made during your lifetime into the future. When an estate gift is established, you will become a member of our Legacy Leaders, our donors who care for those in need and feed hungry children for years to come.
